The starting rate of pay is $20.58/hr.

Mass General Brigham Home Care provides non-acute, medically necessary skilled care in the home to help “homebound” patients recover from illness or injury and manage exacerbations of chronic disease. Services include skilled nursing care (IV drug administration, injections, tube feeding, wound care, care plan education), physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, medical social services, and as needed medical supplies.
We are seeking a part-time, 32-hour Home Health Aide to join our team! New HHA and CNA graduates are welcome to apply.
This role involves visiting patients in Wrentham, Norton, Medway and surrounding towns. Schedules are flexible and can be tailored to availability between Monday-Friday! The number of daily visits will vary based on the total hours worked each week.
The HHA delivers personal care services—bathing, grooming, meal assistance, mobility support, and medication reminders—helping patients live safely and comfortably at their homes, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living communities. Guided by a personalized plan of care and supported by an expert nursing and therapy team, the HHA will play a hands‑on role in helping individuals maintain their independence, dignity, and well‑being.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials
Class D Passenger Vehicle Driver's License [State License] - preferred
Certified Home Health Aide - preferred
Experience
Clinical/Hospital/Managed Care Office Experience 1-2 years preferred or Patient Care Experience 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledgeable in patient care practices including personal care, homemaking and basic health care services.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Have good personal hygiene.
- Able to do light housekeeping.
- Good communication skills both written and oral.

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will bring a combination of the following qualifications and strengths:
Massachusetts Home Care Aide Certification
Pass the Massachusetts Council Home Care Aide exam
One year of home health aide experience
Ability to complete five clinical training modules
Computer experience or demonstrated aptitude to learn
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to meet communication and documentation requirements
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required to interact with a broad population
Ability to adapt to changing situations
Organized and be able to independently and reliably follow specific instructions
