Qualifications:  
High school diploma or G.E.D. required with a preference towards individuals with prior money handling and customer service experience. Candidates must pass background and drug screening per Kaw Nation Gaming Commission regulations to obtain a gaming license (Medical Marijuana cards are accepted). Flexibility to work any shift as needed or assigned—including weekends, evenings, and holidays—is required.

Responsibilities and Duties:
The Slot Technician is responsible for performing advanced repairs and coordinating with vendors for machines requiring specialized service or maintenance beyond internal capabilities. They assist guests by answering questions about gameplay, troubleshoot machine malfunctions, and help maintain a safe gaming environment by monitoring for suspicious activity on the casino floor.
           
  • Assist guests and direct them to the locations of requested machines.
  • Ensure slot machines are functioning properly by addressing malfunctions, clearing paper or money jams, refilling printer paper, and assisting with stuck tickets.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and effective machine repairs.
  • Maintain the back-of-house system by keeping components clean, organized, and fully operational.
  • Assist with the installation and removal of slot machines.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while conducting company business.
  • Follow all applicable state, federal, and tribal laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
