We are looking for a Project Manager – Commercial Glass & Glazing to oversee commercial glazing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for coordinating project schedules, subcontractors, materials, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The position supports work involving commercial glass, storefront, curtain wall, entrances, and related glazing systems. This is a strong fit for someone who understands both the technical and operational side of commercial façade and glazing projects.
Responsibilities
• Manage commercial glass and glazing projects from kickoff through final completion
• Coordinate project schedules, procurement, fabrication timelines, field installation, and subcontractor activities
• Review drawings, specifications, contracts, submittals, and shop drawings for scope and accuracy
• Work closely with estimators, field teams, vendors, general contractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
• Track budgets, change orders, RFIs, material lead times, and overall project performance
• Ensure projects meet quality standards, safety expectations, and customer requirements
• Support project meetings and maintain clear communication with clients, architects, and construction partners
• Identify project risks early and help resolve scheduling, installation, or coordination issues
• Maintain organized project documentation and provide regular status updates to leadership
• 5+ years of experience in project management within commercial glass, glazing, façade, curtain wall, storefront, or related specialty construction
• Strong understanding of commercial glazing systems, including storefronts, entrances, and curtain wall systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and subcontractor coordination
• Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and construction documentation workflows
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across office, field, and client-facing teams
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
• Proficiency with construction project management software and Microsoft Office
