Job Summary - Clinical Instructor X-Ray

Responsible to provide a positive learning environment in the clinical setting for students, completion of the student evaluations as required by the student’s educational program, and acts as a liaison between the clinical site and educational program. The Clinical Instructor will also independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, perform radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority.

Independently, or under the direct supervision of a physician, performs radiology procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, following policies and protocols using established anatomical positioning and physiology to produce optimum images, while keeping patient welfare, confidentiality and comfort a top priority. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

Clinical Instructor X-Ray

Education:
▪ Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology 
â–ª Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field
â–ª Preferred: Successful completion of an approved clinical instructor training course or successfully completes CI Training Course in the first 90 days of hire date
Experience:
â–ª Preferred: 2 years minimum experience in diagnostic radiology
â–ª Preferred: 2 Years Related Experience in a Teaching Hospital
Skills:
â–ª Strong analytical/problem solving skills.
â–ª Knowledge of current diagnostic radiology technical information.
â–ª Proficient in using computers and computer systems.
â–ª Excellent time management, interpersonal, presentation, organization, prioritizing, decision-making, and planning skills.
â–ª Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
â–ª Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
â–ª Required: ARRT Registered

Radiology Technologist

Education:
â–ª Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Radiological Technology
â–ª Preferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field

â–ª Preferred: 1-2 Years Related Experience
