York Ford of Brazil is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Lube Technician to join our service team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance services and conducting accurate, consistent multipoint inspections to support vehicle safety, customer retention, and service department profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid exchanges, and basic maintenance services.
- Complete accurate and consistent multipoint inspections on every vehicle serviced.
- Document inspection findings clearly and thoroughly on the repair order.
- Identify safety concerns and maintenance needs with integrity and precision.
- Communicate inspection results effectively to Service Advisors.
- Follow manufacturer maintenance schedules and dealership processes.
- Maintain clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to dealership safety policies and OSHA compliance standards.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties that may not appear in this description.
Performance Expectations
- 100% completion of multipoint inspections on all eligible repair orders.
- Consistent accuracy in inspection documentation.
- Support advisor recommendations through thorough inspection reporting.
- Maintain productivity benchmarks set by Service Management.
- Minimize errors and rework.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Automotive maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
