Job Description: A rapidly expanding manufacturing facility is seeking a 1st Shift Production Team Lead to oversee daily operations within the Formulation department. This role is responsible for coordinating workflow, supporting a team of operators, maintaining product quality, and ensuring production goals are consistently met. The Team Lead will manage hands‑on production activities, uphold safety standards, and help drive continuous improvement across the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support formulation operators throughout the shift.

  • Coordinate daily tasks including batching, mixing, forming, processing, and general production activities.

  • Monitor output and adjust workflow to meet daily targets.

  • Ensure materials and equipment are prepared and functioning before production begins.

  • Conduct quality checks to maintain consistency and compliance.

  • Maintain accurate production records and inventory counts.

  • Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety protocols.

  • Communicate production updates, issues, and staffing needs to leadership.




Requirements

  • 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead a team in a fast‑paced, hands‑on setting.

  • Comfortable with physical production tasks and repetitive processes.

  • Willingness to work overtime when required.
