As a Quality Inspector, you will support the inspection of aerospace components using both conventional and advanced metrology equipment. You will interpret complex technical drawings, verify tight‑tolerance features, and ensure compliance with customer and industry requirements. You will collaborate closely with quality, engineering, manufacturing, and other internal teams to maintain high standards of product integrity and support reliable production outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Inspects components using conventional inspection tools to verify compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Interprets complex aerospace drawings, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) requirements.
  • Uses advanced inspection equipment such as comparators, coordinate measuring machines (CMMs), Faro arms, and laser inspection devices.
  • Documents inspection results and communicates findings with relevant departments.
  • Interfaces with internal teams to resolve inspection‑related issues and support production needs.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area and follows safety requirements.
  • Performs inspection tasks in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Applies knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements during inspection activities.
  • Supports daily workflow requirements by using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years of quality control experience.
  • Experience working with military specifications, ANSI standards, and Computer‑Aided Design/Computer‑Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM).
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
