Location: Bar Down at the Grand Lodge on Peak 7
Position Type: Full-Time Exempt
Compensation: $60,320 - $72,280 (DOE)

You will own the full FOH ecosystem—from staff development and floor management to financial performance and vendor partnerships—always embodying our "End of the Line" philosophy to deliver seamless, elevated service. Responsibilities
- Â Recruit, hire, train, mentor, schedule, and performance-manage all front-of-house staff (servers, hosts, bartenders, server assistants, and cashiers) in alignment with company operating procedures.
- Oversee the floor during service hours, ensuring seamless coordination between the dining room and kitchen, and providing hands-on support to staff and guests alike.
- Monitor guest experiences in real time, resolve inquiries and complaints promptly, and uphold top-tier service standards.
- Partner closely with the Kitchen Manager and Sous Chef to maintain smooth service flow and operational alignment.
- Develop weekly FOH schedules based on business needs, employee parameters, and budget requirements; approve PTO, VTO, and time-off requests.
- Manage bi-weekly payroll submission for FOH staff, ensuring accuracy and timely approval.
- Oversee monthly inventory of FOH supplies, wine, liquor, and beer; develop cost-effective vendor relationships and coordinate weekly ordering with other resort outlets.
- Support the General Manager in tracking sales, labor costs, and budgeting; perform daily TSW reconciliation and investigate discrepancies.
- Serve as the Point of Sale administrator, maintaining menu items, pricing, modifiers, button configurations, and reporting structures.
- Submit monthly expense reports to accounting within required timeframes.
- Partner in developing and executing revenue-generating experiences, including live music, holiday offerings, and peak-season dining events.
- Use Canva to design menus, table tents, signage, and promotional materials that align with brand standards.
- Foster positive partnerships with resort management, Owners Association, vendors, and local community stakeholders.
- Conduct regular property inspections and ensure adherence to all health, safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations.
- Embody and promote BGV's Hospitality Values, including warm welcomes, respect, empathy, personal responsibility, and anticipating guest needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a high-occupancy, full-service restaurant or resort environment (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- ServSafe Manager Certification (company-provided training)
- Colorado Responsible Alcohol Beverage Vendor Certification (company-provided training)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Experience with restaurant management software

- Ability to stand for long periods and walk throughout shifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including outdoor service areas during peak seasons
- Ability to sit and work at a computer workstation for extended periods

- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
- Comfort working in indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to cold weather, snow, and high altitudes
- Ability to work in moderate to high noise levels with frequent guest interaction

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Management, or a related field
- Experience with Toast Point of Sale systems
- Experience developing and conducting staff training programs
- Experience managing inventory and vendor relationships
- Proficiency with Canva for creating menus and promotional materials
- Experience with Corcentric Accounting or similar invoice approval platforms
- Experience with Emburse Professional or other expense reporting tools
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with other resort departments
- Experience planning and executing revenue-driving events and promotions
