Physical Therapy Assistant

Therapy & Wellness Connection is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our pediatric therapy team on a very part-time basis. This is a great opportunity for a PTA looking to add a few consistent hours to their current schedule while working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

Position Details

• Part-time – approximately 5 hours per week currently

• Potential opportunity for hours to increase as our PT caseload grows

• Pediatric outpatient setting

• Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Collaborative environment with PT, OT, Speech Therapy, ABA, and other pediatric professionals

• Flexible scheduling based on caseload and availability

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy
• Valid Ohio license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Experience working with pediatric populations
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques and practices
• Effective interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a clinical setting
• Specialization in a specific area of physical therapy, such as early intervention, autism, and pediatrics
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
