SUMMARY:

Minebea AccessSolutions is an automotive parts manufacturer with operations in Bremen, Georgia and Selma, Alabama.  Since we began operations in North America in 1988, Minebea-USA has pursued the goal of developing advanced, valuable products for our customers. Our Bremen facility has expanded over the years and incorporates manufacturing processes such as plastic injection molding, zinc die casting, automated painting, and final assembly. Our Equipment Maintenance team works not only to ensure day-to-day operations but is also home to an engineering group dedicated to identifying and implementing efficiency, quality, and safety improvements within our facilities.

As a Technician Team Lead within Minebea-USA’s die maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities for the technicians working your respective shift and will act as a point of escalation for equipment downtime issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily once they have been fully trained.

  • Ability to use multiple types of measuring devices.
  • Completing daily die work sheets.
  • Problem solving skills and abilities.
  • Must be very detailed oriented.
  • Die Maintenance department safety and daily 6S procedures.
  • Operate grinder, welder, and hand tools.
  • Perform clinics and repairs on dies as directed.
  • Maintain good attendance.
  • Trian and operate over head crane safely.
  • Work with and support other associates as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have passed or be able to pass the MECTEST AU-C level 2 test
  • 1-3 years’ experience of die maintenance or related qualifications.
  • Experience operating tig and laser welding machine.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fluent spoken and written English. Ability to convey complex concepts to a wider audience.

OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

High level of integrity and accountability. Able to work both independently and as part of a team. Must be flexible to work additional hours as required.
