Payroll Clerk

Position Type: Full-time, Hourly  

Location: In Office; Auburn WA  

Wage Scale: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour  

Benefits: Full-time Regular Employees (and their families) can enroll in medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Employees will also accrue 80 hours of vacation per year for the first 9 years and eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year.  

Responsibilities:  

• Review, verify, process, and submit weekly payroll daily and weekly certified payroll. 

• Audit payroll entries for accuracy in SAP. 

• Manually input vacation and sick hours into payroll system as needed. 

• Enter and process terminations in payroll system. 

• Run a variety of payroll reports for managers and VPs as requested. 

• Manage and respond to general inquiries in the payroll email inbox. 

• Resolve discrepancies with payroll as needed. 

• Ensure that confidentiality and security of all information is maintained. 

• Other duties may be assigned. 

Requirements:  

• At least one-year experience processing payroll. 

• Experience in certified payroll in a construction environment is a plus. 

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.  

• Professional verbal and written communication skills. 

• Regular attendance is required.
