Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Washington
Setting: Remote / Telehealth
Position: Full-Time
Salary: $115,000–$120,000 per year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

The Position

We are seeking a Washington-licensed LMHC to provide counseling services to adults through telehealth. The role centers on regular client appointments, one-on-one counseling, and helping clients address concerns that may be affecting their emotional health, relationships, or daily life. You’ll manage your own client schedule, use your clinical judgment during sessions, and keep the necessary records up to date. This is a remote position with a consistent weekday schedule.

Your Day-to-Day

  • Meet with adult clients for scheduled counseling appointments
  • Discuss concerns, current circumstances, and goals to determine the focus of therapy
  • Use appropriate counseling techniques based on each client’s situation
  • Help clients develop practical ways to manage stress, emotions, relationships, and life changes
  • Revisit goals and make changes to the direction of care when needed
  • Complete session notes and required clinical records
  • Take part in case reviews or clinical discussions when appropriate
  • Follow Washington LMHC regulations, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards
  • Active Washington LMHC license
  • Master’s degree in Counseling or related discipline
  • Previous clinical therapy experience
  • Ability to manage a consistent caseload remotely
  • Reliable internet and private workspace
  • 2 weeks paid time off
