Program Manager, Healthcare Operations

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for an experienced Program Manager, Healthcare Operations to support a large-scale healthcare administrative program serving military treatment facilities throughout the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. This role will provide leadership and operational oversight for services supporting patient appointing, referral management, healthcare documentation, workforce coordination, and overall program performance.

What You'll Do
- Provide overall leadership and day-to-day oversight of program operations
- Manage staffing, scheduling, workforce coverage, employee performance, and productivity
- Monitor program performance, workload trends, quality measures, and operational metrics
- Ensure established workflows, policies, and performance expectations are consistently followed
- Coordinate employee onboarding, training, development, and implementation of new processes
- Identify operational concerns and assist with developing appropriate corrective actions
- Support employee retention and continuity of operations
- Prepare and review staffing reports, performance data, operational reports, and other program documentation
- Maintain strong communication with Spectrum leadership, government representatives, supervisors, and operational teams
- Support process improvement initiatives and implementation of new program requirements
- Promote consistent service delivery across patient appointing, referral management, and related healthcare administrative functions
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Management, or a closely related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible leadership experience, including experience in a supervisory or management role
- Experience overseeing personnel, staffing, productivity, quality, and performance expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and strong technical aptitude
- Experience preparing reports and working with performance metrics or operational data
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment
- Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Access to secure, reliable high-speed internet
- Ability to successfully complete applicable federal background requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Healthcare operations or healthcare administrative experience
- Federal government, DoD, or military healthcare experience
- Experience with patient access, medical appointment scheduling, referral management, or healthcare call center operations
- Familiarity with DHA, TRICARE, MHS GENESIS, or similar healthcare systems
- Experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams
