Position Type: Full-time

Pay Range starts at $15 per hour (or more depending on experience)

Are you ready to dive into a leadership role where you can make a big splash in your community? The YMCA of Middle TN is looking for an Aquatics Coordinator, Full-time to lead our aquatic programming, build a strong team, and ensure a safe, engaging environment for all.

What You’ll Do:

• Plan, organize, and oversee all aquatic programs.
• Hire, train, and motivate aquatics staff.
• Manage pool operations, including chemical testing and maintenance.
• Build relationships with members and ensure an exceptional experience.

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum Age: 18
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1,000+ hours of aquatic experience, including 2 years of teaching aquatic programs
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience with pool operations (Certified Pool Operator certification preferred)

Certifications You’ll Need (we’ll help!):

• Lifeguard and Instructor certifications before your first shift
• Certified Pool Operator/Lifeguard Management (within 6 months)
• Mental Health First Aid USA (within 6 months)
