We’re looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to help support our finance operations with a strong focus on carrier statement reconciliation and QuickBooks Online vendor management. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, takes pride in accuracy, and thrives in a supportive but fast-paced environment.


What You’ll Do

1. Carrier Statement Reconciliation

  • Download, track, and reconcile monthly carrier commission statements
  • Match commission payments to internal production reports and CRM data
  • Identify missing commissions, discrepancies, or variances
  • Maintain accurate logs of received and outstanding commissions


2. QuickBooks Data Entry & Vendor Management

  • Enter new vendors into QuickBooks Online and maintain existing vendor records
  • Update vendor profiles (addresses, W‑9 details, payment terms)
  • Code transactions to the proper accounts and classes
  • Support AP/AR functions including invoice entry, payment prep, and light collections follow‑up


3. General Bookkeeping Support

  • Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Upload and organize financial documents in SharePoint, Teams, etc.
  • Help support month‑end close reporting and data exports
  • Maintain spreadsheets, tracking logs, and internal accounting tools


What You Bring

  • 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online
  • Experience reconciling statements (carrier or vendor statements a major plus)
  • Comfortable using Excel/Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently


Bonus Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with CRM or policy management systems
  • Familiarity with commission workflows or insurance carriers
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles


Working Conditions:

  • Stationary role, operating a computer and office equipment. 
  • Light lifting (up to 25 lbs.). 
  • Onsite at our Brentwood, TN office. 15 hours/week, preferably 3 days at 5 hours each day.
