Description
The Role: Move Beyond the DashboardÂ
Most analysts are content looking at what happened yesterday. At Altair Data Resources, we are looking for a builder who wants to dictate what happens tomorrow.Â
As a Data Insights Analyst, you are the technical bridge between our most sophisticated clients, our high-energy sales team, and our elite data scientists. You won’t just run reports; you will architect the data stories (via Tableau) and the technical workflows (via Alteryx/Python) that determine how our clients win in the marketplace.Â
What You’ll Do (The Mission)
- Be the Technical Consultant: Lead technical discovery on sales calls, advising clients on data requirements and secure transfer protocols. You are the "expert in the room."Â
- Build the Engine: Use Alteryx and Python to clean, blend, and analyze complex datasets. We value logic and automation over manual repetition.
- Partner with Data Science: Collaborate on "feature engineering" for predictive models. You’ll take complex model scores and translate them into actionable "sales plays."Â
- Drive Strategy: You don’t just deliver data; you deliver ROI. You’ll develop audience segmentation and remail cadences that move the needle for our clients.
- Tell Stories with Data: Build high-impact Tableau visualizations that make complex insights digestible, persuasive, and impossible for stakeholders to ignore.Â
Requirements
What You Bring to the TableÂ
- The Technical Toolkit: You are proficient in Python and Alteryx. If you see a manual process, your first instinct is to automate it.Â
- Visualization Chops: You know how to use Tableau to drive decision-making, not just show pretty charts.Â
- Financial & Marketing Literacy: You understand direct-to-consumer metrics like conversion rates and response modeling. Experience in Financial Services (Mortgage/Lending) is a major plus.Â
- The "Translator" Skill: You can explain a complex data build to a non-technical Sales VP without losing them in the weeds.Â
- Analytical Rigor: You have a "Force Multiplier" mindset—you look for ways to make every project more effective than the last.Â
