What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Senior Project Manager within our Corpay Payables division. This position falls under our Commercial Card Implementations line of business and is located in Brentwood, Tennessee. You will work directly with enterprise customers and regularly collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to resolve implementation challenges, manage project requirements, and deliver successful customer outcomes.

You will report directly to the Senior Director and regularly collaborate with Commercial Card, Implementation, Product, Sales, and other cross-functional teams supporting customer implementations.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Leading complex customer implementations across Virtual Card, Multi-Card, and Expense products from initiation through successful launch
  • Managing enterprise customer implementations while providing a consultative and high-touch customer experience
  • Serving as a primary implementation point of contact for customers and key internal stakeholders
  • Developing and maintaining project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and action items
  • Leading customer meetings, implementation discussions, project status updates, and other implementation-related communications
  • Building trusted relationships with enterprise customers and providing consultative support throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Adapting project plans and implementation approaches as customer requirements, priorities, and circumstances change
  • Operating effectively in complex or ambiguous situations where solutions may not be explicitly documented or covered by an established process
  • Identifying project risks, issues, dependencies, and unanswered questions and proactively driving them toward resolution
  • Determining when additional research, internal expertise, or escalation is required and engaging the appropriate resources
  • Documenting clear meeting notes, decisions, owners, next steps, and action items
  • Following through on commitments and ensuring outstanding action items are driven to completion
  • Managing multiple projects, customers, stakeholders, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously
  • Navigating complex or challenging customer conversations while maintaining strong relationships and forward project momentum
  • Partnering cross-functionally with internal teams to resolve implementation challenges and support successful customer outcomes
  • Learning Commercial Card products, processes, and implementation requirements and developing into a trusted Subject Matter Expert
  • Identifying opportunities to improve implementation processes and enhance the overall customer experience

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, implementation management, client implementation, or related experience preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing customer or client implementations from initiation through completion
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with external customers in a client-facing environment
  • Experience managing complex or enterprise-level customer relationships and stakeholders
  • Strong project planning, organization, prioritization, and time-management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
  • Strong customer-facing communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, changing, or complex environments
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to determine appropriate next steps without relying solely on prescribed processes
  • Strong follow-up, documentation, and action-item management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and drive them through resolution
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels and functions
  • Demonstrated learning agility, curiosity, and willingness to ask questions and seek additional information when needed
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and recognize when escalation or additional expertise is required
  • Ability to adapt established processes based on customer or project requirements
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on overall project objectives and customer outcomes
  • Commercial Card, payments, FinTech, or financial services experience is preferred but not required
  • Experience within SaaS, technology, healthcare, enterprise software, professional services, customer onboarding, or another complex implementation environment will also be considered
