About the PositionĀ
YAI is actively seeking aĀ Program Recruiter to workĀ along-sideĀ a regional team of HR professionals. The Recruiting Coordinator willĀ be responsible forĀ the sourcing and acquisition of long-term talent across our different service settings and organizational systems withinĀ Nassau County.Ā
The ideal candidate will have prior HRĀ or programmaticĀ experienceĀ the field of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Must have strong public speaking skills, an ability to effectively communicate our mission, and the capacity to attract top-level talent for our expanding workforce.Ā
Key responsibilitiesĀ
Source, recruit, and hire top talent.Ā
Liaise between hiring managers and candidates to coordinate/conduct interviews, referrals, and related business processes.Ā
Utilize various job boards,Ā careersĀ pages, and social media outlets to advertise and market open positions and upcoming vacancies.Ā
Organize and attend career fairs, virtual interviews, and other recruiting events.Ā
Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity via our ATS (i.e., Workday), and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.Ā
Generate offer letters.Ā
Facilitate open communication between the Onboarding team and Program Managers.Ā
Partner with hiring managers on hiring needs and priorities to implement best-in-class talent acquisition strategies.Ā
Attend monthly regional leadership meetings in Westchester as well as departmental meetings (New York City) to provide status updates, report on progress, and other related KPIs.Ā
Other duties as assigned.Ā
Education and ExperienceĀ
Two yearsā experience in a talent sourcing role or related discipline is preferred.Ā
Prior or ongoing experience in the field of I/DD strongly preferred: Comprehensive understanding of Residential, Day, and Community HabilitationĀ services.Ā
Bachelorās degreeĀ stronglyĀ preferred.Ā
ScheduleĀ
This is a Full-Time (40 Hour/Week) position. Proposed Schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm;Ā with occasional availability after hours and weekends to attend career fairs and hiring events.Ā HoursĀ can be made flexible upon further discussion and as long as itĀ remainsĀ compatible with the needs of the business.Ā

Proficient in utilizing ATS and ERP systems to manage back-end hiring and business processesĀ requiredĀ to move candidates through various stages of the hiring pipeline.Ā
CompensationĀ
$24.04/hourĀ
