We are seeking patient, playful and dedicated BHPs to work 1:1 with clients, aged 3-21, with a mental health diagnosis in our Home and Community Based Treatment/Therapy (HCT). This home and community based behavioral health service is for children and families in need of therapy and support to help manage mental health symptoms, function better in home/community and prevent hospitalization.

Overview: The BHP-HCT will work under the supervision and guidance of a Licensed Clinician and will provide behavioral and emotional support to a child in their home and throughout the community. Collaborating closely with the clinician the BHP HCT will work with the client on behaviors, social skills, engage in physical development activities, personal and daily routines, as well as community inclusion. This position involves travel to and from clients’ homes and will require use of vehicle for transportation. This is a part time position with the ability to work up to 40 hours.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A minimum of 60 higher education credit hours in a related field of social services, human services, health or education; or A minimum of 90 higher education credit hours in an unrelated field or A high school diploma and a minimum of 3 years’ direct experience working with children in a behavioral health children’s services program

  • Certification: Must obtain or have an existing BHP provisional certificate within 30 days of date of hire and full certification within one year (company paid training).

  • Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel to and work in clients’ homes
