Job DetailsJob Location: Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club - Brewster, MA 02631Salary Range: $20.35 - $20.35 HourlyHOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT Job Description Summary: Clean and maintain all corridors, elevators and landing, and service areas on guest room floors, ensuring hotel’s standards of cleanliness. Provide linen supplies for room attendants and stock floor closets. Deliver and retrieve items requested by guests and supervisors. Return dirty room service dishes and trays to service closets. Essential Functions: Job Duties: Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces, according to OSHA regulations and hotel requirements. Ensure security of any assigned keys and radios. Review assignment sheet and update completed assignments. Check with supervisor and housekeeping office for additional assignments throughout the shift. Review assigned area and complete general removal of trash or any debris on floors. Stock linen carts with clean linen and supplies. Transport linen carts to appropriate floor closets and neatly stock according to diagram. Maintain cleanliness and organization of floor closets. Remove all dirty linen from assigned room attendants carts and closets. Vacuum hallways and lobbies. Clean glass in lobbies and front entrance of villas. Clean designated areas with proper chemicals, tools and equipment: Guest room floors and corridors. Floor closets Service corridors Elevator tracks and landings Stairwells Transport any room service trays and items on guest hallways to service closets. Inspect condition of all furniture for tears, rips stains and report damages to supervisor. Dust and polish all woodwork.   Remove dust, dirt and debris from all public areas. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and care for all public area furnishings, surfaces, carpets, and pathways. Use designated chemicals, supplies and equipment to clean various floor surfaces (mops, buffers, vacuums, wet vacuums, extractor, shampoo machine, etc.) Provide timely delivery of any items requested by guests. Retrieve items from guest rooms and return to proper storage unit. Report any damages or maintenance problems to supervisor. Turn over any lost and found items to supervisor. Ensure guest satisfaction. Ensure security of guest room access and hotel property. Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests or fellow employees. Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of all housekeeping vehicles and equipment assigned to the housekeeping department. Install cleaned or new drapes. Make up cribs and roll away beds and transport to designated areas. Turn mattress and box springs according to rotation schedule. Assist lobby attendant as assigned. Stock housekeeping departmental supplies. Qualifications
