The Division of Pathology at Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a full-time Pathologist with combined skills in neuropathology.

The full-time academic appointment will be at the Assistant Professorial level.

The Division of Pathology provides a comprehensive and full service anatomic diagnostic support for all clinical general and subspecialty pediatric programs.   The Division of Pathology processes >15,000 pediatric surgical specimens a year and >1,000 outside consultations.  Approximately 125 autopsies are performed each year, with over 20 autopsies represented by neuropathology cases.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Doctor of Medicine OR Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine OR equivalent

  • Unrestricted licensed physician

  • Approval/credentialing from CCHMC Medical Staff Services Division

  • Completion of all required pre-employment activities

  • Assistant Professor appointment or eligibility

  • Prior clinical practice experience may be required based on the needs of the department

  • Preferred: Board certification
