RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems meeting company and industry standards for quality and efficiency.
Repair and troubleshoot irrigation systems as required.
Lay and install new or renovated irrigation systems.
Activate and deactivate irrigation systems according to seasonal priorities or pre-established schedules.
Program irrigation clocks to ensure proper watering of landscapes maintained.
Purchase parts required to repair irrigation systems maintaining accurate inventory and strict cost control.
Gather and update historical data for each account regarding water sources, point of connection and mainline location, services performed, and parts installed.
Submit thorough and accurate billing information for chargeable work performed to Supervisor.
Employee must maintain excellent customer service and communication skills with employees, clients, vendors, and management.
Ability to work alone and self-motivate a must.
Promote and maintain safe working conditions.
Ensure proper use, care, and inventory of company vehicle, equipment and tools assigned.
Snowplow during winter season
EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years experience with irrigation systems.
Experience with Hunter Hydrawise Controllers
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Valid driver’s license required
General understanding of landscape maintenance
Snowplow experience a plus
Available to work late and on weekends
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
