We are committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care to individuals and families affected by addiction, mental health challenges, and incarceration.  Position Overview: Recovery Network of Programs is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) Coordinator to lead and coordinate substance use services within the Bridgeport Correctional Facility. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safety, complaint, and effective delivery of medication-assisted treatment to incarcerated individuals diagnosed with opioid use disorder.  SHIFT: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm  Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of daily methadone dosing and ensure adherence to RNP protocols. Conduct nursing assessments and monitor clients for therapeutic effectiveness and adverse reactions. Collaborate with prescribers to communicate clinical concerns, dosage changes, and treatment updates. Maintain accurate records in the electronic health record (EHR) and dosing systems. Ensure proper storage, security, and chain of custody of methadone/suboxone in compliance with DEA, DPH, and SAMHSA regulations. Coordinate care transitions for individuals being released from custody, including referrals to community-based MAT programs. Serve as the primary liaison between medical, correctional, and behavioral health teams. Provide oversight and support to LPNs and other nursing staff involved in MAT services. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, discharge planning, and compliance audits. QualificationsQualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut (required). Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in corrections, behavioral health, or substance use treatment. Experience with medication-assisted treatment (e.g., methadone, buprenorphine) strongly preferred. Strong organizational, clinical, and communication skills. Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team in a secure correctional environment. Knowledge of regulatory standards governing opioid treatment programs is a plus.
