About the Role:

The Crew Lead plays a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the daily activities of a team to ensure efficient and high-quality operations. This position is responsible for guiding team members, managing workflow, and maintaining safety and compliance standards across all tasks. The Crew Lead acts as a liaison between management and crew members, facilitating clear communication and timely resolution of any issues that arise. Success in this role results in improved team productivity, enhanced morale, and the consistent achievement of operational goals. Ultimately, the Crew Lead ensures that projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a relevant industry.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead a team effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification in leadership, project management, or safety (e.g., OSHA).
  • Demonstrated ability to train and mentor team members.
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in field work and heavy customer contact is considered valuable and a critical key to the success of this position as well as staff development
  • Two to three years history of demonstrated success in work experience in customer-related activities 
  • Maintains all safety training requirements 
  • Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of crew members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
  • Provide clear instructions, training, and support to team members to enhance their performance and development.
  • Monitor adherence to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management to report progress, challenges, and resource needs.
  • Resolve conflicts and address any operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
  • Assist in scheduling shifts and allocating resources to optimize team efficiency.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to crew members.

The Crew Lead utilizes strong leadership and communication skills daily to motivate and guide team members toward achieving operational goals.
