Under limited guidance, this position will: - Review, revise, and communicate a procurement business plan. Establish, communicate and implement short-term and long-term goals for the department to promote effectiveness and efficiency.
- Serve as the primary contact for procurement related questions, training, policy and procedure interpretation and alignment by all departments.
- Direct current procurement policies, procedures and programs with a focus on enhancing organizational value.
- Meet regularly with respective departments and executives regarding procurement needs, ensure their understanding and/ or recommendations to enhance policies and procedures.
- Develop, communicate, and implement new or revised policies, procedures, and programs as needed. Responsible for providing policies and procedures for best practices in the acquisition process.
- Manage the sourcing life cycle process to acquire goods and services, to include market analysis, sourcing, request for proposal, information, bid (RFI and RFP), analysis, selection, and negotiations, etc.
- Develop and implement procurement software solutions and reporting.
- Utilize key performance indicators to measure procurement performance and develop dashboards for periodic review and reporting to senior management.
- Oversee and negotiate creation of new and renewed vendor contracts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS Education, Experience, Licensure (minimum level required) |
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Management, or related field from an accredited institution.
- At least ten (10) years of oil and gas industry experience.

This role will have director level responsibilities over the department. Supervises two (2) or more Full-Time Employees regularly.
Responsible for regularly making decisions and/or recommendations concerning: - Interviewing/hiring.

- Plan, appoint, and direct the work.
- Appraise performance/productivity and efficiency.
- Recommend advancement, promotions, or other changes in status.
