Healthcare United is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to join an established GI practice in Southern Connecticut.

This opportunity offers the ability to step into a busy gastroenterology program with strong referral support, procedural volume, and a collaborative clinical environment.

The incoming physician will provide comprehensive GI care, including outpatient clinic visits, consults, endoscopic procedures, and ongoing management of digestive health conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive gastroenterology care

• Evaluate and manage patients with digestive health conditions

• Perform endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy and upper endoscopy

• Participate in consultative GI services as needed

• Develop individualized treatment plans

• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, APPs, and clinical staff

• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

• Support continued growth of the GI service line



Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology

• Active or eligible Connecticut medical license

• Strong endoscopy and colonoscopy skills

• Excellent communication and patient care skills

• Ability to work well in a collaborative employed practice setting
