About our EMS Network:

American Ambulance Service, Inc, is a subsidiary of the Hartford HealthCare EMS Network, a comprehensive, multidisciplinary EMS system which includes licensed EMS agencies, hospital – based paramedic response resources, air-medical response resources, education and research, and hospital-based coordinators and medical directors. Our headquarters is located in Norwich, CT and we have additional offices in Griswold, Ledyard, Bridgeport, and at Foxwoods Resort Casino.  American Ambulance provides a full range of emergent and non-emergent medical transportation services by highly trained professionals to ensure safe, quick, and compassionate patient care.

Your Impact:

The EMS Operations Supervisor oversees day-to-day operations of a transfer-only EMS program based at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. This role combines operational leadership and direct patient care, ensuring safe, timely, and compliant interfacility and discharge transports. The Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, payroll oversight, interviewing and onboarding, coaching and corrective action, supply and fleet readiness, crew quarters upkeep, and weekly/monthly performance reporting.

• High school diploma/GED
• Valid CT Driver's License
• Valid State of Connecticut EMT or Paramedic License
• Valid Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider CPR certification
• 3+ years of EMS experience
• 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
