Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate punch press machines to fabricate parts per work orders, drawings, and specifications
 - Load and unload materials safely and efficiently
 - Inspect parts during and after production to ensure quality standards are met
 - Measure parts using basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
 - Perform basic setups, tool changes, and adjustments as trained
 - Identify and report quality issues, machine malfunctions, or safety concerns
 - Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S and safety standards
 - Accurately complete production and quality documentation
 - Follow all company safety policies and procedures
 - Participate in training and cross-training opportunities to expand skillset

Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing experience required
 - Experience operating punch press or similar fabrication equipment preferred
 - Ability to read basic blueprints and work instructions
 - Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
 - Willingness and desire to learn new machines, processes, and skills
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 - Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
 - Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
 - Repetitive use of hands and arms
 - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment

Preferred Skills (Not Required)
- CNC punch press experience
 - Familiarity with sheet metal fabrication
 - Experience with quality inspection processes
 - Forklift or material handling experience
