Job DetailsJob Location: R E Campus S07 - Bridgeton, NJ 08302Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Graduate DegreeSalary Range: $75,000.00 - $78,000.00 Salary/yearTravel Percentage: Up to 50% Position Summary               This position in coordination with the WIC Director will provide leadership in program operations, staff supervision, training, quality assurance, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion, and ensures USDA and State regulatory compliance to provide quality services for women, infants, and children (WIC participants). Knowledge of WIC policies, regulations, certification procedures, and public health nutrition principles. This candidate will possess strong leadership, staff development, and program management skills. Preferred candidates with ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and implement quality improvement initiatives. Candidate will have ability to build effective relationships with staff, participants, healthcare providers, and community partners. Key Responsibilities Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating WIC program services and operations. Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local WIC regulations. Oversee participant certification, food benefit issuance, and service delivery. Monitor caseload reports, dual participant and other program required reports as needed. Prepare and submit required reports to the WIC Director, Agency management and State WIC Office. Supervise clerical staff, breast feeding staff and Certified Professional Authorities CPAs). Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity monitoring, and leave approvals. Provide coaching, technical assistance, and performance oversight. Ensure efficient operations across all WIC sites. Develop and conduct staff training on WIC certification, nutrition policies, regulations, and program updates. Coordinate in-service education on nutrition counseling, breastfeeding, infant feeding, and participant education. Attend state and local nutrition meetings and provide follow-up training to staff. Ensure staff competency and adherence to program standards. Nutrition Education & Breastfeeding Support Lead development and evaluation of annual Nutrition Education and Breastfeeding Promotion Plans. Collaborate with the WIC Director and Breastfeeding Manager to enhance participant education services. Promote evidence-based nutrition and breastfeeding practices. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and program partners. Promote awareness of WIC services and facilitate referrals to supportive services.   Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics and either: Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or Public Health Administration; or Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential. Minimum three (3) years of supervisory experience in WIC, public health nutrition, or community health programs. Valid driver's license is required. Qualifications
