Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Principal Pricing Analyst.  This position is based out of our Bridgeton, MO facility and will have the option to work and in person or hybrid schedule.  The Principal Pricing Analyst will own the analytical and substantiation layer of proposals, including comprehensive cost volumes with the justification that withstands government oversight, complex pricing analysis, and independent quick-turn estimates at proposal tempo.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive cost volumes with strong substantiation demonstrating proposal reasonableness and realism
  • Prepare SF1411 packages and supporting data for TINA-covered actions
  • Develop and refine BOEs with functional organizations so estimates carry documented, supportable rationale
  • Run rapid pricing exercises for capture teams, program offices, and customers; support price-to-win targets and margin trades
  • Perform specialized analyses: cash-flow modeling, multi-year and option-year structures, variable quantity pricing, abated rates, escalation and EPA analysis
  • Produce independent ROM estimates on short turnaround as pursuits demand
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
     

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a relevant quantitative field, required
  • 10+ years cost estimating and proposal pricing in government contracting
  • Demonstrated expertise developing cost volumes and Bases of Estimate (BOEs)
  • Advanced data analytics skills, including the ability to synthesize incomplete or ambiguous data into defensible cost estimates
  • Proven ability to produce accurate, compliant pricing under tight deadlines

The salary range for this position is $93,121.00/ year- $125,713.00/year for the state of Illinois. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate’s qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
