Transfer/Yard Jockey Driver - Night Shift

JOB SUMMARY

Cumberland Dairy has immediate job openings for dependable CDL-A transfer truck drivers to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and assist in properly moving materials and product between two company locations in Bridgeton, NJ. This will also include performing vehicle safety checks on equipment, helping warehouse and plant personnel load or unload materials if needed, as well as following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicating effectively with team members to meet daily deadlines.

OUR OPERATORS FOR THIS POSITION START AT AN HOURLY RATE OF:

• $29.00 per hour

SCHEDULE:  2-2-3 Rotating Turn Schedule

Night Shift Schedule 6PM-6:30AM

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One year verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment preferred
• Valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with clean driving record
• Valid Medical Examiners Certificate
• Must be efficient in driving manual transmission
• Must be computer literate and able to navigate applications efficiently 
• Must be able to obtain Tanker endorsement 
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimal
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
• Ability to push, pull and lift up to 55 pounds
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
