Dietary Aide – Full-Time

Schedule: 2 weekdays and every other weekend

Moraine Court Supportive Living is seeking a dependable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our dining services team. In this role, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals while creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents. If you enjoy working with older adults and take pride in providing excellent customer service, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities

  • Assist with meal preparation, plating, and food service
  • Serve meals according to resident dietary needs and preferences
  • Wash dishes, sanitize equipment, and maintain a clean kitchen environment
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control guidelines
  • Assist with receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies
  • Support inventory management and notify supervisors of supply needs
  • Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure efficient meal service
  • Provide friendly and respectful service to residents, families, and visitors
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous food service, restaurant, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Ability to read and follow recipes and dietary instructions
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a senior living, assisted living, nursing home, or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Experience serving individuals with specialized dietary needs
