Location: Lawrence or Bridgewater, MA | Full-Time

As AVP Financial Reporting Manager, you will oversee the credit union's financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and NCUA requirements, ensuring full compliance with applicable banking regulations at every level. In this role, you will prepare and present information for auditors and examiners, analyze financial trends to inform strategic decision-making, and support the organization's budgeting process from planning through execution. Leading the accounting and finance teams, you will set the standard for accuracy, efficiency, and strong internal controls, acting as a trusted steward of BrightBridge's fiscal health and a key partner to senior leadership.

What You'll Be Doing (Your Responsibilities)
  1. Oversee preparation and filing of all internal, external, and regulatory reports.
  2. Oversee preparation of all financial reporting to both management and the Board, including reporting on key performance indicators.
  3. Ensures adherence to US GAAP, NCUA rules, BSA, OFAC, REG E, etc.
  4. Develops, automates, and streamlines financial/regulatory reporting processes and internal controls.
  5. Performs variance analysis, interprets financial data, and supports strategic decisions.
  6. Acts as a key liaison for auditors and examiners, providing timely data and analytics.
  7. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and NCUA reporting requirements.
  8. Live the organization’s cultural beliefs by promoting the “See It, Own It, Solve It, Do It” culture, continuously improving member service and the staff experience, and focusing efforts on achieving key results.
  9. Manage direct reports in accordance with Human Resources policies, procedures, and budget guidelines.

  11. Actively represent the organization by participating in community events and activities that strengthen relationships, enhance visibility, and support the organization’s commitment to the communities it serves.

What We’re Looking For (Your Qualifications)

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting/Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field (MBA or master’s degree is preferred).
  2. Five to seven years of progressive experience with financial institutions.
  3. Deep understanding of credit union operations, financial markets, and regulatory framework.
  4. Extensive background in Finance, accounting, risk, or data analytics within financial services.
  5. Familiarity with core processing systems (Symitar, Fiserv, etc.) and financial modeling.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
