Responsibilities:
This position will manage the iconectiv accounting functions this will include but not be limited to the following.
- Financial Reporting. This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the systems of internal control as regards all aspects of financial reporting
- Monthly Close Process. Oversee and direct the monthly close process, including the approval of journal entries, the co-ordination of cross functional teams to produce reports for detailed analysis by both the accounting functions and the Financial Planning and Analysis groups as well as the loading and reconciliation of the Onstream reporting tool.
- NetSuite. Manage the NetSuite ERP system includes adding new accounts, opening closing periods as required for the closing process, setting the calendar and labor processing weeks. This position also serves as the backup NetSuite administrator and will determine all accounting questions as they relate to NetSuite processing.
- Purchase Orders. This position will ultimately be responsible for the approval and release of PO’s within the NetSuite ERP system for release to vendors.
- Accounts Payable & Fixed Assets. The Accounts Payable Manager will report into this function.
- Account Analysis. Oversee and direct the account analysis process to ensure the timely and accurate reconciliation of subledgers to G/L balances.
- Financial Audits. Oversee and direct any required financial and tax audits.
- Income & Sales tax. Oversee and direct any activity related to Income & Sales tax with third part consultants (CohnReznick).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting.
- CPA/CMA preferred
- 15 plus years’ experience in an accounting operational environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of Software accounting, ASC 606 revenue accounting and ASC 842 Lease accounting
- Ability to work independently, manage your own time and priorities, and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of NetSuite ERP system.
- US Citizenship required
**Hybrid employees must live within 75 miles of the iconectiv office in Bridgewater, New Jersey, which is the in-person office location where the employee will report when working in-person
At iconectiv, we expect to pay between $142k- $205k for this role. This role is eligible for variable pay (bonus). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, skills, abilities and geographic region.
