Position Summary:   The Facilities Janitorial/Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, orderly, and professional environment throughout office and hangar facilities. This role ensures that workspaces, common areas, and restrooms are consistently maintained to high standards of cleanliness, contributing to employee well-being and a positive impression for clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:            

• Services, cleans or supplies restrooms  
• Cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming 
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures 
• Cleans windows, glass partitions, or mirrors using cleaners, sponges or squeegees 
• Cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures 
• Gathers and empties trash 
• Mixes water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications 
• Notifies supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or maintenance issues  
• Requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties 
• Sets up, arranges and removes decorations, tables, chairs to prepare facilities for company events and meetings  
• Other duties as assigned 

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required  
• Ability to clean all buildings, fixtures and furniture safely and in a timely fashion
• Demonstrates ability of maintaining janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition 

• Basic knowledge of modern cleaning equipment and chemicals  
• Adept at using chemicals in a safe manner  
• Excellent communication and customer service skills  
• Ability to work effectively individually and with a team  

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions  

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with janitorial and/or cleaning

Additional Requirements

• Passport or work authorization requirement to work in the US

• Ability to sit, stand, and/or kneel for extended periods of time 
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds  

Working Conditions

• Monday through Friday 6 am – 3 pm, after hours and weekends based on business needs
