Our client, a world leader in diagnostics and biotechnology, is looking for a “Sr Laboratory Technician - Operations” based out of Branchburg, NJ.

 

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $27/hr on W2

 

The Oligonucleotide Development Group seeks a Laboratory Technician to support purification method development, downstream processing, characterization, and formulation of oligonucleotides. This role involves hands-on lab work, process troubleshooting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality production and support scale-up activities.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform purification, characterization, and formulation of oligonucleotides using HPLC, UV-VIS, and related techniques.
  • Support production operations, ensuring compliance with SOPs, OSHA, and cGMP standards.
  • Document experiments, production data, and results in SAP, LIMS, or other systems.
  • Monitor lab supplies, equipment calibration, and maintenance.
  • Participate in experimental design, protocol development, and technical reporting.
  • Contribute to process improvement, new platform development, and scale-up initiatives.
  • Provide input on new equipment, procedures, and SOPs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Knowledge of cGMP, lab safety, and production support in a regulated environment.
  • Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
