A Day in the Life:
Workers primary responsibility is to successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe and productive manner
Performs powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist
Reports malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and uses lockout/Tagout SOPs
Directs, stages and places all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment
Picks, prepares, packages, documents, labels, and ships all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Preferred: Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
Preferred: Experience with powered industrial trucks
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Ability to read and write in English
Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner.
Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks, forklift operator experience is helpful
Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Candidate must be comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position is required

The hourly pay range estimated for this position Material Handler I based in New Jersey is $21.50–$22.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
