Join our team at Mariani Enterprises, LLC as a full-time Crew Leader for our Bridgman, MI location. This individual will oversee landscaping crews to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures, provide training, supervise crew activities, and address job site issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work activities of the crew.

  • Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to crew members.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

  • Train new crew members and provide ongoing training to improve skills and performance.

  • Monitor and report progress and issues to management.

  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify any hazards or safety concerns.

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the work process.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.

  • Proficient in organizing and prioritizing tasks.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions: Work requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion, and frequently transport plant material around the job site up to 50 lbs. Physical requirements also include lifting, bending, walking, carrying, and pushing (i.e., lawnmower) on a repetitive basis. This position works outdoors in various weather conditions. The noise level at the job site may be loud when operating certain equipment, such as a lawnmower or backpack blower. Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to client needs and deadlines.
