Our Dermatology clinic located in Brighton Michigan is looking for a Full Time Medical Assistant to join our practice. Not only will you get exposure to both medical and cosmetic procedures, but you will be joining an amazingly wonderful team.  Pay $17-20 hourly based on experience.

POSITION SUMMARY: Assists physicians or licensed healthcare practitioners in ensuring a smooth patient care experience and outstanding service to patients seeking skin, hair, nail and cosmetic medical services, including, but not limited to, preparing the rooms; pulling and maintaining charts; verifying documents; ensuring timely service; greeting patients; obtaining and documenting patient information; accompanying and/or assisting the providers with procedures; communicating with patients, providers and other staff members; updating the electronic medical records (EMR) system; and performing cleaning, sterilizing, organizing and inventory tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum Education and Experience Preferred)

  • Minimum one year of Medical Assistant experience preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Certificate of Completion of Medical Assistance Program, BCLS Certification, and/or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Certifications preferred but not required.
