The Supervisor, Gift Shops, under the general direction of the Manager for Retail Services, takes the lead in planning and implementing programs for providing gift shop(s) services at Trinity Health.聽 Develops policies and procedures with effective resource utilization to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and internal standards.聽 Interviews and selects candidates for positions in the Gift Shop(s).聽 Develops and implements basic training and continuing in-service education programs and evaluates the performance of direct reports.聽 Under general supervision, coordinates buying, merchandising, displaying, inventory and financial management of retail merchandise in the Gift Shop(s).
Full-Time position scheduled varied shifts, 40 hours per week.聽 Benefited position.

Requirements:
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Education:聽聽聽聽聽聽 High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.聽 2 year College or College coursework in merchandising or related field preferred. 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Experience:聽聽聽聽聽 Minimum of 5 years of progressively more responsible work experience.
聽Essential Duties and Responsibilities
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Places customer first and central to all operational decisions.聽 Monitors patient/customer satisfaction.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Acts as liaison to departments and areas to assure expedient response to patient and customer concerns.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Trains, educates and develops associates to equip them with the basic skills for good customer service.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitors Gift Shop(s) operations to ensure that standards of quality, hygiene and efficiency are met.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Collaborates with patients, customers, suppliers and buyers on an ongoing basis to identify new opportunities to continuously improve the quality/product of the Gift Shop(s).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Responsible for financial management related to budget, FTEs and supplies.聽 Develops plans to reduce expenses and keep within financial targets.聽 Monitors, reports and provides explanations for budget variances.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops, recommends and administer polices and procedures pertaining to Gift Shop(s).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Works closely with the buyer with ordering new merchandise, meeting with sales representatives and attending local and national gift shows.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Overseas inventory control, storage, distribution, sales, displays and merchandise.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in retail gift shop(s).
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Monitors daily operations to ensure compliance with departmental quality standards.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Assists with determining retail prices.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviews daily, monthly and yearly sales reports to plan marketing/sales strategies, trends and financial reports.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviews invoices for payment approval.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Provide input in creating SKU鈥檚 and establish profit margins for all new merchandise in point of sale system
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Signs off and reconciles cash drawers and cash on hand.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Supervises the activities of personnel by interviewing and making decision for hiring, orienting, training, coaching, evaluating and terminating employees.聽
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Communicates expectations to staff and monitors and reviews staff performance on a regular basis.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops and implements a personal development program to ensure continuing professional growth.
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develops hours of operations and necessary staffing models. .
路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Reviews payroll reports to ensure accuracy.
