Description:

Maintenance Technician (Temporary)

Woodland Village | Brighton, MI

Woodland Village is seeking a dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for helping maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-functioning community for our residents and staff.

Schedule:
Temporary Position | 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community

  • Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs

  • Maintain and repair community and kitchen equipment

  • Complete painting and furniture refinishing projects as needed

  • Support floor care activities, including vacuuming, shampooing, disinfecting, and deodorizing

  • Calibrate thermostats and perform minor equipment repairs

  • Operate, test, and complete preventive maintenance on generators and other facility systems

  • Maintain grounds, equipment, and building systems in accordance with safety standards and community procedures

What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Minimum six months of maintenance experience preferred

  • Experience in healthcare, senior living, or long-term care environments is a plus

  • Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance

  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
