Summary/Objective

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for processing work orders from customers, recruiting, screening, and hiring personnel to work order specifications.  This person should develop and maintain continuous applicant flow as required by the client.

 

Essential Functions

  • Hire for client capacity.
  • Administer company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain applicant flow through placement of ads, development of recruiting sources and analysis of weekly and monthly recruiting source reports.
  • Perform weekly payroll with high attention to detail
  • Regularly review work orders and interact with customers.
  • Develop and update orientations for new and current clients.
  • Set up new pay and bill rates with the manager’s approval.
  • Administer assessments as required by client.
  • Receive, process, and analyze work orders from customers.
  • Process merit, tenure or incentive increases.
  • Submit Billing Source Documents as appropriate for each customer.
  • Communicate and resolve with customer any invoice non-payment.
  • Case management of injured employees during working hours to include accident investigation and completion of accident/injury report and worker’s compensation packet. Determine the job the employee will return to after he/she has been released from the doctor.
  • Attend unemployment hearings.
  • Attend workers’ compensation hearings.
  • Maintain excellent level of customer service by visiting client site at predetermined level.
  • Maintain excellent level of customer service by establishing predetermined levels of candidates in Kanban pools to ensure MAU has employees ready to start positions at all times to meet customer needs.
  • Communicate with onsite management and client management regarding customer service needs.

Required Education and Experience

  • Clear working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
  • 1-2 years’ relevant experience


Preferred Education and Experience

  • Associate’s degree in a related field (communications, business management, human resources)
  • HR Certification (PHR or SHRM-CP)

Work Environment or Working Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Further, this job may require occasional presence at customer sites, both in administrative and manufacturing environments.  Customer sites sometimes include process manufacturing equipment and heavy power industrial vehicles.  Environments may vary from non-temperature-controlled environments to GMP clean room required. 

 

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift 5- 20lbs periodically and 50lbs on occasion
  • Ability to stand/walk for up to 4 hours
  • Ability to sit for up to 4 hours
