Overview

Under the direction of the Director of Food and Beverage, the Banquet Assist Manager ensures accurate record keeping, prepares, reviews and analyzes reports.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Ensures that all setup duties are completed on time; conducts all roll calls prior to function. • Ensures that all guests receive service according to established standards of quality; relays all guest compliment/complaints to Banquet Manager; provides personal service to head table. • Adheres to established hotel policies, food and beverage policies, labor regulations and liquor laws. • Conducts ongoing training programs for outlet personnel. • Makes use of all available merchandising techniques. • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times. • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility. • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:• High school diploma or GED preferred with one (1) to three (3) years of restaurant supervisory experience required.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:• The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.• Exposure to gaming related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise, high volume guest/employee contact in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment
