Carpenter/Handyman Foreman

Title of Position: Carpenter/Handyman (7:00am-3:00pm M-F + Saturdays)Location: Morrisville, PA

As a Silvi Materials Maintenance Handyman, one will complete numerous tasks involved in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC. By performing assigned task of maintaining and repairing the interior or exterior of company premises, you will ensure that our facilities are in top tier condition! One will demonstrate initiative, responsibility, strong interpersonal skills, and flexibility/adaptability in a fast-paced, fluid business environment.

So, what does a Maintenance Handyman do?  You'll be an integral part of our operations team:

• Completing numerous and simultaneous tasks in:
• Carpentry
• Electrical
• Plumbing
• HVAC
• Painting
• Perform maintenance and repairs in a well-organized manner
• Obtains, stores, records, safeguards, and properly uses equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Maintains a safe, clean working area.
• Ability to drive a vehicle as needed.

Qualifications Required:

• Valid Driver's License
• At least 2 years of similar work experience.
• Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
• Deadline-oriented and detail-oriented.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Graduation from a technical or skills trades school preferred but not required. 

 Physical Requirements

 In a typical work setting, people in this job:

• Lift 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds on occasion.
• Use one or two hands to grasp, move, or assemble objects
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, bend, stretch, twist or crawl.
• Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them.
• See details of objects that are less than a few feet away.
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness.
