Job DetailsJob Location: FL, Bristol - Liberty Correctional Institution - Bristol, FL 32321Position Type: Full-TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma/GEDTravel Percentage: NoneJob Shift: DayJob Category: Dental Hygienist & Dental AssistantCenturion is proud to be the provider of dental services to the Florida Department of Corrections.    We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team at Liberty Correctional Institution located in Bristol, Florida.   The Dental Assistant works under the direct supervision of the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist in chairside dentistry in a correctional setting. Essential Duties: Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments Preparing and maintaining the dental operatory Operating radiographic equipment Administrative tasks as needed Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent required  Completion of a technical school program in dental assisting or 12 months of experience as a Dental Assistant required  Certified Dental Assistant license and/or Expanded Dental Assistant Certificate or ability to obtain one required within first 6 months of employment  Florida Radiograph Certificate, or ability to obtain one required within the first 6 months of employment  Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation preferred, or willing to obtain one upon hire Certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or willing to obtain one upon hire Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check   Available Shift: Days, 7AM-3:30PM EST; Monday-Friday   We offer excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits for our full-time team members including: Health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance 401(k) with company match Generous paid time off Paid holidays Flexible Spending Account Continuing Education benefits Much more...   Centurion Health contracts with state and local governments nationwide to provide comprehensive healthcare services to correctional facilities, state hospitals, and other community settings.
