Evaluate signs and symptoms. Interpret/evaluate diagnostic tests and laboratory results. Monitor/review patient care and treatment plans. Provide education and counseling of patient and family in preventative care, medical conditions, and use of prescribed treatments/drugs. Refer patients to physicians or other healthcare professionals/facilities as needed and monitors outcome of the referral. Provide on-call coverage for evenings and weekends as needed. Maintain patient confidentiality.
