Duties and Responsibilities

· Assist with monthly closing activities to ensure that financial statements and general ledgers are closed timely and accurately

· Prepare & review various month end journal entries & reconciliations in accordance with policies and timelines

· Review of Accounts Payable vouchers for proper submittal of payments

· Assist with preparation of monthly & quarterly reporting packages and various operational analytics

· Assist with performance of various SOX compliance procedures

· Support internal and external audits as needed

· Assist with standard cost and absorption analysis as required

· Assist with physical inventories

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

· Superior written and oral communication skills

· Knowledge of PC spreadsheets, word processing and database applications (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL and OneStream preferred)

· Overall comprehensive understanding of business processes, with manufacturing experience preferred

· Highly motivated, self-starter with good analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, with 1-2 years of related experience preferred but not required.

· Experience with ERP application a plus

· Experience with SOX controls compliance a plus

Physical Requirements

· While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  

· The employee regularly is required to walk, climb or balance, and talk and hear.  

· The employee is occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.  

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
