  • Ongoing development and certifications on both new and existing Cummins products are required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is preferred, and the salary for this position is competitive.

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Bristol, PA.     

You will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
  • Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
  • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
  • Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
  • Maintain own tools

Responsibilities

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Completes complex internal engine repairs
  • Performs engine overhauls unassisted 
  • Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
  • Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
Locally valid driving permit (Preferred)
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. 

Experience: 
Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine products

Qualifications

Working hours are M-F 7 A.M. - 3:30 P.M. and are subject to change due to business needs. 

-    This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.
