Apartment Maintenance Technician

Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to help maintain the overall condition, safety, and appearance of our apartment community. This is a hands-on role responsible for completing service requests, supporting unit turns, and ensuring residents have a safe and comfortable place to live.

What You’ll Do

• Complete daily service requests including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs 
• Assist with unit turns, including repairs, inspections, and getting apartments move-in ready 
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems 
• Monitor the community for safety issues and address them quickly 
• Maintain grounds as needed, including trash pickup and general upkeep 
• Troubleshoot and repair items such as doors, locks, fixtures, lighting, and flooring 
• Assist with pool maintenance and common area upkeep 
• Help move appliances and equipment as needed 
• Track inventory and report supply needs 
• Work with the team to meet deadlines and maintain community standards 
• Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies 

What We’re Looking For

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience (apartment or related field preferred) 
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
• Reliable, with a strong sense of ownership and urgency 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Work Environment

• Combination of indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions 
• Physically active role (lifting, climbing, bending, etc.) 
• Full-time schedule with an on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
