Critical Care Veterinary Technician

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) to join our team. This is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $21.00 - $48.00 / hour

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS!

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends.*Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

As a Critical Care Technician, you will:

• Provide care to our critical patients including those receiving extracorporeal therapy like hemodialysis and therapeutic plasma exchange.

• Work in collaboration with our boarded criticalists, skilled technicians, and assistants to provide high quality, progressive medical care to your patients

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like central lines, PICC lines, and arterial catheters.

• Use advanced monitoring like direct arterial blood pressure, capnography, and continuous telemetry

• Assisting in the ICU, including monitor and care for patients receiving mechanical ventilation and other critical patients

• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.

• Assisting with maintenance in the department including stocking
